Xenon Brilliance
CeraLux lamps are designed with sapphire windows and xenon gas that emit ultra-violet, visible and infra-red spectrum. The human eye has evolved to give best spectral sensitivity centered upon green wave lengths. Other visible wave lengths require cool morning sun illumination to enhance their perception. Average daylight registers color temperatures of approximately 5500° K while our pure xenon gas yields 6000° K, providing a clean, high-intensity white light that enables true red tissue rendition for the human retina. Other lighting techniques impart a hue or tint to the illuminated subject, leading to confusion and lack of resolution.
Exceptionally Durable Lamps
The hermetic seals used in the CeraLux lamps utilize high temperature brazing, a proven technology that promotes seal strengths in excess of 10,000 psi. Tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding and cold weld (pinch off) technology are employed to ensure rugged durability.
Efficient and Flexible Illuminators
IsoLux xenon light source illuminators are designed with low noise emitting fans and highly efficient down-flow cooling systems. In addition, variable intensity control and a low-profile indexing turret allow for maximum flexibility.
Ergonomically Designed Headbands and Headlights
The IsoLux headbands and headlights are made of a light-weight synthetic polymer and are ergonomically contoured, providing maximum comfort and performance. Sculptured ratchet-type knobs also provide quick and easy circumferential and crown adjustments prior to or during surgical procedures
Cost-effective Video Camera Recording Systems
IsoLux's video camera recording system allows users to use a single illuminator and processor with three different video camera combinations. This multi-purpose feature not only makes it convenient, but also very economical.
